私の近所

私の近所には、ローワーイーストサイドです。私は20年間ここに住んでいる。 アパートは21階建があります。アパートやコンビニエンスストアがたくさんあります。私の高校は、私の近所にあります。私は私のアパートの向かいにあるイーストリバーのドライブに私の犬を散歩させる。近所がすきです。

Why I chose 日本語225.

      I decided to continue taking 日本語225 not only to fulfill the foreign language requirement for CCNY but also to further my knowledge in the language. I used to watch a lot of anime and I still listen to Japanese Rock music which prompted my interests to learn Japanese. Also my older sister has been taking Japanese in her school, Hunter College, for 8 semesters so it would be nice to speak the language with her. She helps me understand it more almost like my own personal tutor. Even though the language has been difficult to me at times, I enjoy learning it because I could impress and surprise friends and family with my knowledge of the Japanese language. :)
